Curl Pattern Change (Pregnancy/Postpartum Hair)
Hello Ladies!!
I hope you all are having a happy Sunday! I was itching for something different so I decided to do a wash and go. During the process I noticed my curl pattern at the root growing in much looser than the rest of my hair. I'm sharing my experience because I think it's interesting and I rarely hear others talk about it. Check out the video below and if you have not already subscribe to my channel if you like. Thanks for watching!

Latest Videos On My Youtube Channel
Hello Ladies. Lately I have been rushing to get a few videos up before baby girl arrives. When she gets here I will more than likely go on a little hiatus to enjoy being with my family and that's it. I might upload a few short videos and write a few short blog post but no promises. I am currently 38 weeks pregnant. I feel great! According to my family I look like I am ready to have this baby lol. I have definitely filled out and you can see it in my face. My cheeks and nose are very plumped lol but its fine with me! =) I am spending the remaining time before baby arrives getting things ready, reading, relaxing and enjoying my husband and son. Below are a few videos you might have missed on my channel. Feel free to like, comment and share. I hope you all are doing well. May God bless you all. Grace and Peace!

Full Pregnancy Workout :Cardio and Strength Training
Hello Ladies!
I wanted to share this information with you over a month ago but I am just now able to find the time to make this post. So I posted my pregnancy strength training routine a while back and now I am ready to share with you what I do for cardio besides going out to walk and play with my son. I have went back and forth trying to find a cardio routine that could get my heart rate up without jumping around and I found it. I usually alternate cardio and the strength training routine. I do both 3 times a week and I make adjustment depending on how I feel. I recently moved at last minute notice so I have not been as consistent for the last week and a half. Packing and running around with Ian was enough or me but I am hoping to start back being more consistent again. I am almost 35 weeks.
Cardio: 3 times a week
Strength Training: 3 times a week

Modest OOTD for a Beautiful Sunny Day
Hello Ladies!
Here is another modest outfit idea. I wear this often even when I am not pregnant. An over sized dress with a belt can go a long way! I have not bought maternity clothes for either pregnancy. My tip to those who need bigger clothes during pregnancy is to buy over sized dresses and blouses so after pregnancy you can just add a belt to create shape. Today our son and I went for a walk, splashed in some puddles, went to the chapel to play the piano and went to the pool. Ian was so tired after that he ate lunch and went straight to sleep. We really enjoy being outside and enjoying the fresh air! It always puts me in a better mood. By the way I am 30 weeks and 2 days pregnant in this video. I hope you find this video helpful! Enjoy!

My Skin Care Regimen During Pregnancy
Believe it or not we all do not get the privilege of having flawless skin during pregnancy. I remember at the beginning getting comments about my beautiful pregnancy glow during my first pregnancy and then came the acne. This pregnancy I'm making an effort to control getting so many breakouts and so far so good. I have had a few bumps but no biggie. In this video I'm sharing my update skin care routine that has been working out pretty well so far.
How did your skin change during pregnancy?
What helped keep it under control?

Boy Or Girl? =)
Hello Ladies!
I was so excited all week to find out the gender of our baby that Monday I made sure my house was spotless, picked out our clothes and planned to make spaghetti. I went to bed a 3 am the night before the appointment and woke up at 7 am making sure I had enough memory in my phone to record the ultrasound for my husband who was out of town! I thought it would be fun to do a gender reveal video for my family friends so here it is. I was trying to hurry and get this out because I wanted to tell everyone. The only person I told over the phone was my mother and she was o excited that she screamed lol. I thank God for a healthy baby. We will have our hands full but I would not have it any other way.

16 weeks w/ baby # 2
Hello!
I am happy to be 16 weeks with baby #2! Thank you God for bringing us this far. I am finally picking up weight and I am feeling healthy and beautiful! I started working out 4 days a week. I alternate between cardio and strength training depending on how I feel. Some of my food aversions are going away so I am now enjoying melon and chicken breast. I am always hungry so I keep a lot of snacks available.
My Current favorite snacks:
1. fruit bowls which consist of bananas, grapes, strawberries, granola and and dairy free coconut yogurt.
2. sweet potatoes
3. cold fruit from the fridge

Dealing with Food Aversions during pregnancy
I am a very picky eater during my pregnancy. My palate is super sensitive because my sense of smell is stronger and other mysterious factors dealing with pregnancy like hormones and what not.
Aversions
1)Some foods I do not eat because they leave a bad "after taste" that is intolerable to the point of nausea like crackers, melons, oranges.
2) I'm not a fan of meat because of the texture. I can tolerate chicken and fish but I found myself always spiting out bits that I cannot manage to completely chew and swallow.
3) I like the taste of cheese and yogurt but the mucus dairy creates for me is also intolerable to the point of nausea
Below is an example of what I usually eat in a day. I eat about 6 times a day. I usually eat a lot since most of the foods I eat are low calorie fruits and veggies.\
What I Ate yesterday
Breakfast: 2 eggs and a green smoothie ( banana, mango, spinach, almond milk, flax seed)
Snack 1:a mini cucumber and some baby carrots w/ italian dressing & dried fruit
Lunch: Large salad ( spring mix, tomatoes, to eggs, italian dressing, croutons)
Snack 2: a mango and some mixed nuts
Dinner: A large sweet potato and broccoli.
Snack 3:a veggie sandwich my father in law brought me ( whole wheat bread, grilled squash, carrots and bell peppers)
I feel good eating this way because I know I am not lacking any nutrients like B12(a small amount in eggs), calcium since (almond milk, greens and nuts), I get plenty of good fats (eggs and nuts). I eat plenty of broccoli for folate. I also take my prenatal vitamins which have all of these nutrients
* My husband and son ate a variation of what I did. For them I prepared chicken for a wrap at lunch and honey mustard chicken for dinner. To make it easier on myself we eat a cold breakfast and lunch and I cook dinner.
It took some thinking but I was glad to find a way to eat well and eat what I like despite food
aversions.
