Hair Update #1

I was not expecting my hair to be bra strap length until 2013 but my hair has already reached that goal. I am sooooo excited! =)
Since my conviction to stop cutting my hair  I take the time to  learn how to take better care of it. Recently I simplified the amount of products and time used on my hair. My new regimen has been in use for 6 weeks now and I can already  see some major differences.

To clean and condition my hair:
product-Terressentials Lavender Mud Wash
application- I apply in sections as I detangle then I rinse in the shower .  I put on my Shea butter mix (Shea  butter, olive oil, grape seed oil, vitamin E oil, coconut oil, eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil) then put my hair into 5-6 flat twist to dry over night.
frequency- when needed (usually 2.5-4 weeks)

Daily moisturizer:
product- water and Shea butter mix
application-apply water and seal with Shea butter
frequency-every morning and  night (when needed)

Maintenance:
night: after I moisturize and remove any shed hair and  tangles I put my hair in low bun
morning: I take down my bun, moisturize then shake shake shake!
* I can go 2 weeks before I detangle and re-twist.

Overall results:
I only use 3 products! =)
my hair is always  moisturized
detangling is so much easier
I can wear my hair out without the fear of knots
I do not have to manipulate my hair often
I'm free from the harsh chemicals of many shampoos and conditioners
my curls are happy and so am I!!!!

 progress!
