Double Strand Medium Twist

Although twist are great for a low manipulation style I was not a big fan of them because I did not like the way they look on me. I would wear them to give my hair a break but would be glad to take them down. I am consistently inspired to try them out when I see how great twist look on other women but I have not achieved my desired look until now!!! =)

After 2 weeks of wearing my hair out I knew I needed to get rid of some tangles so I used this opportunity to twist my hair. For each twist i add some water and my Shea butter mixture before  I finger detangle  making sure to get rid of any shed hair and tangles. I used just enough product because I want my twist to appear full.I plan on leaving them in until my hair gets frizzy then wear a twist out for another week or so. This way I get the most out of this low manipulation style.  I'm so happy it turned out great!!!
