I begin having a feeling that I was pregnant earlier than my last pregnancy and I'm sure it is that I know what to expect because of previous experience being pregnant. Also I am more aware of my body because I am healthier this time around. It is not that I was unhealthy during my previous pregnancy but I am constantly trying to improve my health.
My early signs/symptoms:
1. my belly button sticking out
2. Fatigue- I did a small resistance training workout like usual at night but this time I was so tired afterwards I had to take a nap. ha ha!
3. I felt cramping in my uterus
4. Food aversions-I seen a meal online that would usually look delicious but just seeing it made me a little nauseous.
5. Strong sense of smell- I went to the store with a friend and the security guard was wearing some strong cologne (he smelled like my dad ). Although he was at the front of the store I smelled him throughout the entire store. I kept looking over my shoulder thinking he would be there. My friend said she did not smell anything. I can also smell the trash from the kitchen while in the bed room with the door shut. It wakes me out of my sleep so we try to take it out daily.
6. Positive pregnancy test - October 21 my dear friend took me to get a pregnancy test. I took 2 and they both were positive. =) I think I am between 4- 5 weeks. I started feeling pregnant at about 3 weeks. I'm going to the doctor first thing tomorrow morning.
The things that God allow our bodies to do when expecting is amazing!!! I feel like super woman at times. =)
How we feel about Baby # 2:
My husband and I are so excited imagining babies close in age. My husband mention sitting the babies on the couch in effort to take pictures. He refers to Ian as "my oldest child" lol. We are always telling Ian that he has a sibling on the way. We are expecting and praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby in Jesus name. Please pray for our little family. We have some preparing to do but we know that God will provide. Physically I feel great. I think it helps that my toddler keeps me active. We are going to enjoy this pregnancy like the last one.
I'm not going to update too often. I just plan to share some things that might be helpful or interesting. We plan on thanking God and savoring every bit of this blessing.
