I like to make sure I get as many nutrients in as I can each day! When I do I feel better about my health , I have the energy I need for my family and I feel better about my son getting the nutrients he needs through my breast milk. Some days I make smoothies to quickly and easily get some of those nutrients. I threw this smoothie together earlier today. It ended up being this pretty purple color so I wanted to share. I did not really measure it out but it consisted of:
1. a whole banana
2. 1 cup of almond milk
3. about a cup of blue berries
4.about 1/2 cup of baby spinach
5. about 1/2 cup of frozen raspberries
6.about 1/2 cup of frozen mango chunks
7.about 1/2 cup of frozen black berries
All these nutrients only filled my jar half way. The banana and mangoes cured my sweet tooth! I managed to get around the seeds to give Ian a taste too and he loved it!
